At A Ribbon's Tale, we believe ballet is more than discipline - it's a quiet expression of love, memory, and artistry. Our customised pointe shoe ribbons are created to carry those moments with you - literally and symbolically.

The idea for A Ribbon’s Tale was born from a small but meaningful gesture before my first performance — a single flower, tied with a plain ribbon and a handwritten note from my teacher. It was simple, but it stayed with me — her belief in me, her encouragement from the backstage, and the emotion behind every step on stage.

I wanted to wear that ribbon around my ankle during performances — as a good luck charm and to carry that sentiment with me. Then I thought, what if the ribbon itself could hold the note? What if the message and the ribbon became one? A way for dancers to keep a word, a name, or a moment close — not just in their hearts, but wrapped around them as they danced.

Even if not on stage - perhaps during rehearsals, or simply as a keepsake - something deeply personal to keep close.
